In August 1990 Iraq invaded the Gulf state of Kuwait, setting off a chain of events that ultimately led to war with the West. During the war an eight-man British Army SAS patrol was deployed deep inside enemy lines. Their call sign was Bravo Two Zero. Various accounts of the patrol’s activities have been published, but was their mission to gather intelligence or to find and destroy Iraqi Scud missiles?

The numerous stories concerning the mission have not always corresponded, raising questions from the public and the media. In The Real Bravo Two Zero ex-SAS explorer, Michael Asher, travels to Iraq and follows the routes set out in the infamous books to investigate their claims, corroborate their stories and uncover the truth.
